First Family
Our first and family is the Martinez family, which consists of Amanda and her three children, Elijah, Khaalid, and Maimah. Amanda put in her 400 hours of working on the house, a requirement set by Habitat for Humanity International. At the ground-breaking of the house Amanda expressed her gratitude for having been chosen. She stated, "I would never have thought when I filled out the application that I would be the one God would choose for this home." Please visit our current work schedule page for more information. |

Current Family Jennifer Boyes and her son Calob moved into their new Habitat for Humanity home in June 2006, after working well over the required number of sweat equity hours needed from partner families. Jennifer is a single mother who is establishing a massage therapy business in Pasco. Calob is a third grader at Mary Giella Elementary School, home of the Dolphins, which is appropriate because he loves dolphins and has decorated his new bedroom with them. Jennifer is also continuing her Habitat activities by joining the Family Support Committee for the affiliate. She enjoys going to Christian concerts, and loves all her new Habitat friends!
